Born in the Deep South and raised in honkytonks, pool halls and tent revivals is a musical tornado that is twisting its way through the American landscape. Smokey Lonesome is a convergence of musical influences that have come together to form one of the most electrifying and downright ass-kicking bands we've seen in a generation. The all-star lineup of Curtis Lance, Woodson Pierce, Anthony Joyner, Rick Brothers, Tim Beattie, Jamie Potterbaum and Regie Hamm mix southern rock, country, gospel, funk and blues to form a sound that's both indefinable and unforgettable.

Curtis and Woodson started the journey as teenagers. Through the years the other pieces would fall into place that would make this band dynamic and jaw dropping. Curtis's whiskey soaked lead vocals tell every story with passion and conviction and leave you wondering if you've ever heard better. Woodson (always to his left) brings the high harmonies and signature guitar riffs that you can't get out of your head. Tim Beattie, harmonica virtuoso, burns the house down every night with his solos and vocals. Jamie Potterbaum brings raw, rock grit to the stage with his guitar stylings. The backdrop for this musical romp is Rick Brothers on drums and Anthony “Smooth Groove” Joyner on bass, who lay down grooves so deep you can feel them the next day. Regie Hamm brings the gospel influence with B3 and piano riffs that make Smokey Lonesome so unique. Put together, this becomes a show that is unmatched, by a band that is unmatched.

Smokey Lonesome exudes the raw energy of Lynyrd Skynyrd, performs with the vocal sophistication of the Eagles, and writes songs with the sensibilities of everyone from Merle Haggard to Alabama. It is truly a singular musical experience that is leaving audiences breathless across the country.
